Glenn J. Ballenger is the sole shareholder of Ballenger Law Firm, P.A. Glenn has lived and practiced law in Naples since 1998. Prior to moving to Naples, Glenn began his law career in the State of Maryland. Glenn worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Montgomery County Maryland. Later, he became General Counsel for a technology company, Computer Equity Corporation (COMPEC) which provided telecom products and services to the Federal Government. Upon leaving COMPEC, Glenn started entered Law Practice as a Sole Practitioner. As a Sole Practitioner, his areas of practice were concentrated on corporate, estate and financial planning matters. Upon moving to Florida, he began his Law Practice primarily representing Community Associations.
In February 2013, Mr. Ballenger was Awarded a BV ® Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell®. This rating is based upon evaluations by other members of the bar and judiciary attesting to a lawyer’s legal ability and professional ethics. Martindale-Hubbell ® Peer Review Ratings (TM) reflect a combination of achieving very high General Ethic Standards rating and a Legal Ability numerical rating. The General Ethical Standards Rating denotes adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to professional responsibilities. The Legal Ability ratings are based on performance in five key areas: Legal Knowledge, Analytical Capabilities, Judgment, Communication Ability and Legal Experience.
Mr. Ballenger is a Member of the Collier County Bar Association, Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and Naples Area Board of Realtors.
Ballenger Law Firm, P.A. actively supports local charities. Ballenger Law Firm sponsored The Garden of Hope and Courage and Susan G. Komen of SW Florida 2012 Stiletto Sprint and actively supports programs such as Law Suits benefitting Dress for Success of SW Florida. Glenn is committed to giving back to our community.
Glenn is admitted to practice in the states of Florida, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Court Admissions include the U.S. District of Courts for Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the Middle District of Florida.
Glenn graduated from the Tulane University School of Law in 1983 and the Tulane University College of Arts & Sciences in 1980.
